Burke Hedges,
Parable of the Pipeline

In 1986 Burke Hedges was earning $5.50 an hour building boats and going nowhere fast when he read The Greatest Salesman in the World, the book that inspired him to change his life.

Burke decided that for things to get better, he had to get better. As a result, he began a life-long commitment to personal growth through reading positive books, listening to inspirational tapes, and attending motivational seminars.

In 1991, Burke published his first book, Who Stole the American Dream?, which went on to become an international bestseller with 1.3 million books in print. To date his six books have sold over two million copies worldwide and have been translated into six different languages.
